Menstruating can be a difficult process, especially when cramps start. The cramps can be overwhelming and leave you in pain for days.Sometimes you would be in so much pain that you cannot do anything else for the day. In some cases, you could be hospitalized. Sometimes it is better to just lie down and rest for the rest of the day. Sometimes all people can do is just lay down because the pain is too much. Pain medication is not always helpful. It sometimes is not strong enough to deal with the pain. To help deal with the pain, people usually drink tea, use a heating pad, sleep, or go for a walk. Going to a calming environment can help with the stress and sometimes pain of menstruation. It allows you to gather your thoughts and relax. Drinking tea and heating pads are great help as well. Heat helps ease the pain of cramps. Menstrual pain can sometimes be unbearable but it can also be manageable if you are using things to help you through it. -Rayelle Cato
